Fantasy vs Reality

wat a day... started out great... cus i was on standby this morning as there wasn't any calls for me... tink most of the machines r on a break cus 2molo NDP... so i went to international plaza's BK for breakfast... 1st time in my life i tink, i had BK breakfast hahaha :P not bad actually... their harsh browns r rather nice... somemore is small n round, can just pop into the mouth... unlike Mac's harsh brown, abit too oily even the packing oso oily :P but BK's price abit to high though... :P lucky got coupons hahaha

then the horror started, received a call problem due to fax, saying can fax out but cant receive any fax... was tinking it shouldnt be any problem, cus i encountered a similar problem ytd... so just went down to the customer loh... then end up the problem was alot worst than i expected... cus watever i knew, i tried... but the problem was still there... so no choice, almost 1hr past... i called a team leader for help... he did wanted to come down personally to help me... but he got a call last min so ask me to try solving it in other ways... so i tried but still unsuccessful... so last tingy i could do... called my manager for help... he asked me to try changing some boards, did tat n still no change... until it was like 3pm plus!!!! ohh i started at 10am...

the team leader was free at last n came down to look at the problem... n after a few tests he realised the problem wasnt with our machine... it was the customer's ADSL filter tat was causing the problem... it distorted the line signal n so the fax couldnt be stored in the memory to print out... so just a simple solution of changing a better ADSL filter to solve the problem, took me abt 6hrs again to finish the call... hahaha 2nd time in tis job i was stuck tis long... n so 2day i only did 1 call... the worst record for me ever :P

hai~ but today wasnt tat bad as the 1st time i was stuck... i dont feel tat much depress cus i cant solve the problem for the customer fast... cus i told msyelf it's not me tat's giving the customer problem but the machines... i'm just there to help :P hahaha must psycho ourselves sometimes mah :P

at least 2molo get to rest cus it's NDP... miss the times when i was helping out last yr's NDP... so tiring yet quite fun... ohh yah 2molo oso mom's bday... going toa payoh interchange dim sum to celebrate her bday there :P gonna be the 1st time i chip in with my sis n bro to pay for the dinner... cus i started working... finally get to pay for my mom's meal :P
