Sleeping Beast~

my god... i cant believe my eyes when i woke up just now n saw the sky was so dark outside my room window... i thgt it was raining, but when i open the window n realised it was nite time... then it hit me... i had slept for the entire day 2day... i cant believe it man... tis is the 1st time i slept during the entire day... didnt even see the sun... die man scare my internal clock all messed up already... must try to tune it back to normal... hope later still can sleep...

Route March~

hehe just came home not long from vincent's house... went there last evening wif JG, JC, WH n his gf to bai nian... hehe then we played winning eleven till abt 2am... n left abt 2.30am... actually wanted to take nite rider bus home... but realised there's only a nite owl 65M at blk 201 there... somemore it's only a one directional bus... so it wont travel from tampines to bedok reservoir... was tinking whether to take a taxi home... but tinking i shouldnt spend too much $$... so i walked home from tampines 201 area...

i followed the route of bus no.18 n walked till bedok green sec sch n turned inwards the temple to my place... took abt 1hr to walk from tampines to my home... haha long time nv walked so long since bmt route march... kinda missed those marches :P but while i was walking i was feeling beri beri tired... was on a verge of falling asleep already... cant even really walk in a straight line... n would suddenly shut my eyes for 1 sec once in a while... :P luckily didnt fall into any drains along the pavement :P

didnt wanna take the route through bedok town park... cus scare dark n i too tired to defend myself if anytingy happen hahahaha :P finally reached home at abt 4am... actually wanted to go swim 2molo... but dont tink i could wake up in morning liaoz... n not sure got strength 2 swim anot too :P hehe so see how loh 2molo...

as usual, i went down to NTUC for my nite guard part time... everythingy was ok... only this NTUC opened till 12 mid nite... so after the cashiers closed, me n the other NTUC guard cover up then entrances to the drinks n snacks... n i started rearranging the cartons of beer... till abt 12.30am...

i noticed the corridor of the blk was kinda hazy, so i walked down the corridor to check out where the smoke was coming from... n ended up infront of a shop selling incense... it's closed n smoke was coming out from the top of the door... it did occur to me tat it might be fire, but i didnt alert the fire fighters instantly cus i was afraid i would be making a false alarm... instead i thgt the shop owner might be burning somethingys inside...

so i went back to the NTUC... then the hazy was becoming ticker by the minute, so i went to check it out again... this time some other residents were looking around too... n we confirmed there was a fire inside... but we didnt hear anyone shouting for help from inside... i called the fire department immediately which was abt 1am... by the time i hang up the phone i could see fire on top of the door... i ran to get the fire extinguisher from NTUC n tried to put out the flame... i sprayed the top where the flames could be seen... but it was no use... even after we used up 3 fire extinguishers... each 2.5kg... they're volume were really too little to put out the burning flame...

i kept on going to the shop to try put out the fire n back to NTUC again... cus the smoke was too thick for me to breathe n see... kept choking too... the smoke was already reaching for the residents above the 1st floor... n some came down immediately... n alot were still fast asleep cus it was already 1am... some of us did wanted to go up n help the rest of the residents living on top of the burning shop... but we could only climb till half a storey n we turned back down... cus it was impossible to breathe n were blinded by the smoke... we could only wait for the fire fighters to come... which was abt 20-30mins later... kinda slow for such an emergency...

we were lucky... cus NTUC was abt 3 shops away from the burning shop... plus there was a staircase in between us too... n the power n lightings were all linked seperately... even when the flame n smoke melt the plastics n blow up the corridor lights... those in n around NTUC were still ok... after the fire fighters came, i had a look at myself... my black T-shirt n jeans were covered by white dusts from the fire extinguisher... but still able to dust it off...

this was the beri 1st time i encountered a real fire... n tried to help out... but not good enough... should have already called the fire department the beri 1st time i saw smoke coming out of the shop... n should have shouted "fire" to alert everyone... but i didnt... kinda feel stupid... but luckily no one was hurt... maybe slight shock or breathe in too much smoke...

but they took almost 2hrs to put out the fire... n continued to spray the shop with water in case the fire might re-burn... cus of the flammable incense... unfortunately the 2 shops beside the incense shop caught abit of the fire too... but their damage wasn't as bad as the main one... only their sign boards n maybe a part of the walls were burnt... n till this morning 7am they were still spraying the shop with water... total it lasted abt 6hrs plus... when i left at 8.30am they were still there... but the paramedics n some police n fire fighters went back... only a few of them stayed behind to control the crowd n make sure everythingy is in control...

it was kinda funny, as the fire fighters were putting out the flame... they were running here n there n were all exhausted... they asked us if we had any drinks... so the boss of NTUC approved it n we gave them all the FOC drinks... like 500ml mineral water n 1.5l H2O... hehe then ended up those ppl who would be buying drinks from this NTUC won't be getting any free drinks...

hai~ not sure how the shop owner would be rite now... but heard due to chinese new year... he ordered in alot of stocks n alot were burnt in just one nite... hai~ only 2 more days till chinese new year n this kinda thingys struck... wat a year for the shop owner... n wat an experience for me... it really let me see that fire can create thingys... n it could also destroy thingys if not put under control...

One Month~

it's been one month, since i ORDed in Dec 24 2005... still yet to find a stable job... but now working with NTUC, helping out as a nite guard to look after the chinese new year goods overnite... till cny eve...

would begin job search soon... n hope 2 get one right after cny... tis cny cant give ma n pa ang-pao... gotta drag till end of FEB then can give them using my NTUC pay...

hai~ so stressed... then 2day is the 1st time after so many days of work, tat i felt super tired... neck really pain pain... previous days i could still tahan, but tis morning i kept dozing off, cant keep myself awake... really gotta slp longer later... 5hrs really not enough to last me till next morning :P

First entry after my new PC arrived~

hehe so long didnt blog liaoz.... cus had been working overnite for ntuc... looking after cny goods till cny eve... from 10pm till next morning 8am... so whenever i reached home oso not much energy to write anytingy :P but i did online, just dont haf the energy to tink n write hahaha :P

anyway... got my HP desktop last tues 17 jan, went all the way down to jurong area to collect the PC from the warehouse... luckily my bro's free n gave me a lift... if not i dont know how i gonna carry a total of 28kgs of PC from jurong to bedok :P

really beri happy abt this new PC... especially the keyboard... thgt it would be those normal size ones... but this one is quite slim, like those used for laptops :P only flaw is i cant install my own CD-rom n CD-RW/DVD rom cus of the 90days warranty... n no floppy drive oso... i wonder if nowadays all PCs dont come with floppy drive anymore... but i still got my old ones... so all i gotta do is wait till the warranty expires b4 opening up the CPU...

hehe now surf net oso fast already... cus PC is fast n internet speed oso fast :P so happy :)

Be Optimistc? Can i ever achieve that?

Went to work part time for NTUC ytd nite, as a guard to look after the chinese new year goods... was actually happy at 1st when i know i'll be getting quite some $$ from doing this job... eventhough i would only get the pay like near end of FEB... but i'm still happy... till it strucked me... i only haf $51 in my bank, $120 on hand, which makes a total of only $171... till end of FEB!!! for any person that amount would be more than enough to survive a month or even more... or is it?

Estimated amount of money required for bills from 15 JAN till end of FEB:
*insurance (jan) = $34
*starhub mobile (jan) = $2 (due to reward points)

*starhub scv/maxonline (feb) = $120
*singtel home tel. line (feb) = $32
*insurance (feb) = $34
*starhub mobile = $26

So, i'm having a shortage of abt $167...(including my weekly spendings of $15, for 6weeks)... now all i could do is try to delay paying my feb bills will i get the ntuc pay... just hope it would arrive before end of feb... if not i going to be in deep shit...

How could u wan a guy to be more optimistic when everytime i try to get back up, i got pushed down again... where is tat pat on the shoulder when i needed the most? saying everything would be alrite... dont worry, things would work out just fine... try not to stress out too much on it... hai~

1st tingy 1st... happi new year everybody!!! may all ur wishes come true in the yr of the doggie~ :P i hope mine will hahaha.... but anyway the chinese new yr not yet arrive so cant really say it's yr of the dog yet hahaha :P

hehe aiya... me really blur blur... thgt tat wat i was doing at zouk was called cashier labour... but ended up when i went work on new year eve, n signed in on the bk... i saw the words "casual labour" written on it... hai~ wat i was doing was actually called casual labour... hehe cant really blame me lah hor... i nv really came across this kinda job before... n didnt even know there was such a term "casual labour"...

last nite was rather quiet at zouk... i mean tat not much ppl were they as i expected... maybe cause elsewhere there were new yr parties... dennis went with me last nite to do the job... just hope andy wasn't too harsh on him... cause i didnt teach him properly oso... :P hai~ the time passes by damn slow last nite... kept looking at the watch n still not yet time to knock off... but then it started to rain at abt 4am if not wrong then the ppl outside zouk started to go home... n we kinda got to relax abit :P

saw alot of ppl drunk... especially gals... some even completely K.O.... n needed to be carried out... even saw a gal who cant even stand straight... but the funny tingy is she wasnt going back... instead she's just coming to zouk... wonder y these gals would wanna spend their life like these... NO OFFENCE HOR :P yah lah maybe cause we all live only once in this life time... but oso shouldn't spend our life like this mah... it would only create more chances for guys to take advantages of them... which is sometimes i tink not bad oso lah... hahahahaha :P hey i'm oso a guy ok... :P but i usually wont haf such a chance muahahaha...

we left the place at abt 5.45am they management were asking if the casual labours wanted to stay till 10am today... i was tinking if i were to stay the amount i would get would be much more than $52.50.... but then i thgt again... i'm rather tired already... no point tiring myself out to earn a few more bucks... anyway dennis wanted to go oso... so can accompany each other back....

ohh yah... tis time we got back abit more... $59.50 hahaha so total i earned abt $110... enough for me to pay my starhub bills already, then if work 1 or 2 times more, i would be able to survive 1-2 months with minimum spendings on food n entertainment... till i get my ntuc pay... which i haf yet to start work... :P

hai~ need to go rest liaoz... later still need to wake up watch "I,robot" on star movies :P
