the day after x'mas

went to work tis morning n it's already pouring even before i woke up... so decided to take the bus to bedok interchange, long time nv take the bus to interchange already cus normally would walk there... at the mrt station, the moment i reach the platform the train was just leaving the station... so wait for the next 1 loh, no point rushing for it like other singaporeans... not sure wat's their hurry... if late, late loh... so not nice to rush through ppl...

anyway tat's not the main point... when the next train came i was shocked... it was really empty loh... as if i was at tampines n the train just came from pasir ris... but i'm at bedok loh... n not once would the train be soooo empty... maybe tis train came straight from the terminal bah... but kinda weird loh, it's the beri 1st time i get to sit all the way to tanjong pagar ever since i started working... or should say it's the beri 1st time i get to sit down i nthe train from bedok travelling into the city...

then i tink today the rain didnt pause even for a second loh... go the 1st call was raining... after tat still haben stop, lunch time still raining... coming home still raining... so took a bus home again... last few days keep taking bus home cus of the rain... didnt wanna walk home eventhough i got the umbrella cus my shoes n pants would still get wet...

but rain is good... n nice, cus it makes me feel beri relax... but too much not gd... cus clothes wont haf enough sunshine to dry... n mosquitoes r flying around in the house :( hai~

at last!!!

was working at china square central tis afternoon so went to the nearby food court for lunch... after tat i felt tat it's still early till i continue taking calls so go back china square central 2nd floor walk walk see see toys... saw lots of macross figures in huge boxes loh... so tempted to buy a few hahaha but sure will cost a bomb... then went inside the shop to check out wat other toys they haf... then i notice just beside the entrance was a box of power master optimus prime + god bomber... these 2 i haf been searching so long since yrs ago... but always cant find them together... cus it's hard to find god bomber last time... too bad they didnt put up the price tag... but i saw abother god bomber which is sold separately already cost $150 loh... i wonder how much would the 2in1 cost...

then i was hoping tat since he already got optimus + god bomber... they should haf star sabre + victory leo... was soooo excited to see the gigantic box loh, star sabre with victory leo in one box... i already got star sabre, but it's condition not gd anymore... n i totally cant find victory leo at all when i saved enough $ to buy...

soo happy can find these four transformers toys 2day... i wonder if i should go ask the shop owner how much they all cost... maybe when i go back china square central area do calls then go ask... or maybe weekends then go... i didnt ask him 2day cus i kinda no guts to do so hahaha...

well now at least i know these 4 transformers exists in singapore :P

unnecessary stress~

hai~ thgt i had solved the problem on my cable tv flickering whenever i use the internet, but even after changing the splitter, it didnt totally go away... before replacement, all channels flicker... after replacement only some channels flicker... then tried changing cable with the set top box in the living room... but no use... then kinda found tat is the cable tat connects the splitter n the socket tat's causing the problem too... everytime i move the cable the channels flicker n sometimes will be stable... well, i managed to find the "right" spot tat make the channels stable... was sooo happy... till tis evening when i came home n on the tv n pc...

those few channels started to flicker again everytime i use the internet... now even after i move the cable connecting to the socket oso no use liaoz... i kinda ran out of idea n decided to unplug the cable to the set top box... but when i replug in the cable... n it wasnt even fully pluged in yet... the channels were stable again... but when i fully plug it in, it would flicker again... it's either the cables r too damn old, or the hole behind the set top box is faulty...

sian loh... everyday work already so stress, come home still gotta stress on such matters... y cant i relax n watch tv n use internet peacefully? hai~

was watching "Just Friends" on HBO ytd nite... quite a funny show though... i thgt abt sometingy towards the end of the movie... wat do i see myself in 5 or 10yrs time? one tingy immediately came into my mind, it's not abt wat i would be working as or how much i would be earning, but... tat i tink i'm still gonna be soooo single in 10yrs time... hahaha sian~

i mean is like i'm way past the time zone of finding a decent gal who would love me... cus gals my age or even older than me wont go for only love... they demand a guy not just having a stable job but one with excellent income... even with tat, u still gotta look gd n be funny... well i can only say i'm neither of these...

so wat can i do? hahaha should haf at least find one while in sec sch or poly... at least those times gals still wont really go to the extend of money matters... but wat to do, i dont haf the looks to get a gf back then... didnt really realised i was sooo ugly back then... till i look back at my poly time photos... no wonder gals give me 'those' kinda looks...

well all these r the past already... dont tell me i gotta go matchmake to find a gf/wife ar... sian~ hahahaha

over usage?

maybe i on my tv n pc too often already, watch tv with my pc on, or play pc with the tv on n only glancing at it once in awhile hahaha, ytd the 2-way splitter used to connect my tv n pc to... the cable kinda broke down... whenever i use the internet, when the modem is transmitting n receiving data, my tv will flicker... when i off the modem the tv works fine... at 1st i thgt someting was wrong with starhub's programs, but then i realised tat all channels including ch5 n ch8 oso flicker when i use the internet... so i supposed there is sometingy wrong with the splitter... if not tat then it is either the set-top box or the modem... but the easiest way to solve the problem is get a new splitter 1st...

so went to tampines to find out if starhub customer service centre can replace a splitter for me... but the person told me i could only get a new 1 at those electrical applicance shop... lucky tampines area got all kinds of shops, so when to get a new splitter for $10... ohh yah before tat i went to BEST to get a new shaver, cus my old shaver's foil keeps on breaking even after i replace it... so mind as well get a new one for $88, rechargable n with trimmer...

came home to test out if it was really the splitter tat's causing the flicker on my tv... turned on both tv n pc n start using the net... my tv dont flicker anymore, yeah!!... i wonder how can a splitter be faulty... really too much usage ar? just hope tis one wont spoil loh... maybe just gotta limit my usage on tv n pc :P

bonus~

went to withdraw $$ for lunch tis afternoon n was surprised to see the amount i had left after the withdrawal... abt $5K left in the account... 1st time in my entire life my bank account hit 5k hahaha :P

ytd was payday n the 2month bonus was included in the pay too... tat's y got so much $$ in my bank now... but then cus my bonus is a prorated 1... so only $2k...

worked for abt 8months liaoz... calculated so the 2month bonus just 2k... if i started work in january i could haf gotten the full 2month bonus which is 3k loh...

but nvm lah... 1st time see so much $$ in my bank already beri happy liaoz... now just hope i continue to increase n not drop below $1k

went to SITEX at expo halls 3&4 today... alot of ppl sia... reach there then realised expo not only having IT show... but got john little sale n car show... yet IT show got the most crowds haha :P i went there to look for ram n printer, but didnt get any rams cus it's still more than $80, wanna wait n see if it will go down to around $70-75...

but i finally bought my new printer... cus the old canon just died on me tis week, somemore i even bought new ink cart for the canon printer loh, end up printer got error... no matter how i try to clean or fix it still cant solve... so no choice, n lucky got IT show so went down to check out printers n bought a BROTHER DCP-115C printer, the cheapest of all they're selling, cus $88... after they cut down from $98... n bought an extra set of ink cart for $66.50 after 20% discount... got discount mah y miss out? hahaha :P

went to the show with weixiang n he both a speaker for $99... nb tok so much with the promoter, not tat chio somemore hahaha :P actually i buy printer oso took beri long, cus i kept tinking wat i can printer with the printer... cus i dont really use much often :P finally made up the decision to buy it cus i need to printer out some notes for my work... weixiang oso wanted to look for usb bluetooth... the price range at the show was $13-$33 so much more expensive than the $9.90 i saw at simlim square... so told him i would get it from him, rather than wasting $3 at the show hahaha :P

till now i haben on my new printer or install the driver on my pc... cus i do wanna make any mistakes during installation n printing... plan to do everytingy 2moro n printer my notes altogether... oso dont wanna waste opening the ink cart now n test print... do everytingy 2moro better hahaha :P
