my 27th Bday... (Best Ever!!)

this yr's bday is totally diff... for the beri 1st time... having my beri 1st gf celebrating my bday wif me :P sooo sooo sooo happy hehehe... nv thought i would live to enjoy such a day hehe...

my deardear bought my fav blackforest cake on sat... so that i could celebrate the actual bday wif my deardear n cut the cake wif my family on the 25th...

anywayz... on the 26th... we planned to go the the Peranakan Museum n the Mint Toys Museum... both r located near cityhall mrt... but i drove there lah hehehe... who knew... it started pouring n so coincident that the Peranakan museum was having the 1st anniversary for the peranakan... so there were lots of cars...

so we detoured to marina sq instead... went there to adjust the watch strap that my deardear bought for me as my present... so love the watch deardear bought for me... somemore its a couple watch hehehe :P so sweet of her rite? hehehe :P

after that when the rain kinda died down... n since we were running late... we went back to the Peranakan Museum only... finally managed to park in their carpark... i really think that the Peranakan culture is really interesting... should have watched TCS's little nyonya... cus i saw the embroidery n the bead works r really something loh...

after the mini tour... we went for our dinner at The Foundry, along clarke quay... we ate at a jap restaurant over there: Kura No Naka Japanese Restaurant... the place was quite nice... n we notice something... most ppl who dine there r japs... hehehe :P as if we were dining as foreigners in japan... the food was quite nice... but i think due to the fact that we took too much time to take the photos of the food n ourselves, that the food turned cold n it didnt really tasted that nice after that hehehe :P

got a cookie receipe from HX... wanna try to make cookies for a change hehehe... but then end up cus its the beri 1st time i try to bake... then the 1st batch of cookies came out to be "double chocolate chips" hahaha all burnt :P

tis is the 2nd batch... much much better looking then the 1st hehehe... smell chocolaty too hehehe

but overall... they look really burnt hehehe... its so hard to bake loh... not just controlling the heat n time... the preparations r just as hard... the mixing requires soo much energy loh, eventhough im using the electronic mixing... hehehe

these batch r much nicer looking hehehe... selected out just for my special 1... hehehe :P tried to make a heart shaped cookie... but the shape abit deformed lah :P hehehe

lastly... gotta tank HX/JC for the receipe hehehe :P

Natas Fair 2009

did a part time job at EXPO last weekend for 3 days... as a flyer distributor for Tenet Insurance at the Natas Fair 2009... not bad lah... 3 days $250 plus lunch n dinner provided... plus free entrance to the fair... plus can look at travel info... plus got lots n lots of gals to see wahahaha :P

but the down side is that it's really beri tiring loh... stand n walk whole day from 10am - abt 9.30pm... got some breaks inbetween besides the 2 meal breaks lah... but still after the 1st day already beri tiring le... still it was quite fun lah... gotta see n know ppl hehehe...

this booth design really caught my attention loh... don't think those pineapples r fake ok... all of them r real fruits... cus on the last day we could really smell the pineapple even just by walking past it... haha

yesh... he is none other than Moses Lim hehehe... actually he doesn't look that fat leh... think it's really different when u see a celebrity on tv n in real person hehehe...

this is our uniform n balloons... we look like CWOs rite hahaha... or cleaners for the fair wahahaha... but it helps lah... it draws attention from ppl... somemore each of us gotta strap a balloon on us... n walk around n distribute flyers...

this was the 2nd nite of the fair already... we ran out of flyers meant for that day... nothing else to give out so we grouped together n form a line n paraded around the fair wahahaha... it was rather effective loh... cus lots off ppl look at us... n wan flyers from us... but we haf none left... just gotta tell them where our booth was located :P

the last day was the best... somehow one of our balloons took flight n went up the ceiling... then we gotta get it down... by using another balloon, attaching a longer string to it n try to fish the castaway down using doublesided tape on the balloon hehehehe... was so funny i video it... took us abt 4mins to get it down hahaha... everyone was looking at what was happening... can view the video in my facebook hehehe

1 Day KL Trip on 25th Feb

took the nite flight to Kuala Lumpur on 24th Feb... the flight was supposed to depart from SG at abt 9pm but then when we got there the flight was delayed till 11.15pm... y? cus it's Tiger Airways... always delay flights...

it's the 1st time i been to the budget terminal... hmm... not bad lah the place hehe just that the drinks there r priced at a crazy rate... 1 can of drink cost $1.70... was really thirsty then, so no choice gotta buy it...

so to pass the time we went to T2 for dinner at BK... i think the service of fastfood might need abit of improvement... after i received our meals, i noticed she over charged me, she's busy at that moment so i waited for her to give me back the right change... then the barley drink was really just plain water with the smell of barley? hehehe don't know y, but that time at tampines subway... the barley was also just plain water... i didn't change it cus it was too late when i realised it... i was already in the car driving home...

anywayz... hehe i went to the toilet at T2, n i notice this cute thingy... they got a toilet seat designed for kids too... haha just need to lower down the smaller seat that's all hehehe... sooo cute... :P

then we took the shutter bus back to budget terminal... didn't realise the shutterbus operates thoughout the whole day... well, there's a break somewhere inbetween lah hehe can't expect them to drive 24hrs

finally got our boarding ticket... but with some delay again, cus we were supposed to check-in at abt 7+pm but we thought since the flight was delayed... we could check-in later... who knows when we came back, the check-in counter was already closed... we end up gotta get the ppl from their office to help open the counter again to check us in hehehe :P

hehe i took this pic from my seat in the plane again... that time i went cambodia i oso took such a pic... dont know y oso... just like to take this pic hahaha :P

then finally... we arrived at KL at abt 1am in the morning... then we took a cab to our hotel in downtown KL, n it cost us abt RM92 loh... n the journet to our hotel was abt 1hr... so we reached there at abt 2am... we were just hungry n tired loh... after we checked into our rooms, we came down again to buy cup noodles n drinks from the 7-11 inside the hotel hehehe :P

the hotel not bad... although not much to look at but it has got a small 7-11 n that's just what everyone needs hahaha... plus there's a small subway, a small kopitiam hehehe... n our rooms oso quite small hehe but gd enough

oh n their rooms haf got lots n lots of mirrors... ranging from big wall mirrors to small toilet mirrors... hahaha i wonder y soo much mirrors in a room... hmm...

oh n this is the mac poster in the room... with no minimum order... hahahaha

oh n the room doesn't haf a wardrope... just this built in wall hanger hehe...

me n eve, our tour guide for the day in KL hehehe... she came to SG n i was her guide at sentosa... now we switched roles... she's bringing me n shiryn around KL hehehehe

cus they even got an amusement park with a roller coaster too... all these inside the shopping centre loh... omg...

shiryn trimming her fringe... quite cheap... but the thing is... the final look doesn't seem any diff from before leh... i could haf done the same thing with a pair of scissors hahahaha much more cheaper... oh n the stylist... as to what eve n shiryn said lah... was beri pretty n fair... but i didn't notice much of her looks :P maybe was too tired already hahaha

then after that we met up with shiryn's KL frenz n had a drink before heading to the KL central to take a bus straight back to LCCT, the budget terminal in KL... the journey was oso 1hr... but was way way cheaper... only RM9 per pax...

we reached the airport just in time at abt 9.15pm... after check-in i still got time to buy cuttlefish hahahaha :P then sit n waited to be boarded...

shiryn was having gastric... so bought a chicken sandwich on the flight... cost abt SG$7 loh... hahaha so exp loh :P but looks nice lah... i always liked the food served on the flights... they just taste different hehehe... kinda nice in a certain way :P

finally we reached SG at abt 11pm... then shopped again at the duty-free shops in budget terminal... then we took separate cabs home... hehe then for the 1 Day in KL i only bought a hp accessory strap with mahjong design... n 3 packs of cuttlefish hahahaha :P but i enjoyed the trip lah hehe gotta see what KL looks like hehehe

1st trip to Tamp IKEA

got a chance to use bro's car 2day... so went to IKEA walk walk hehe... cus nv been to there n wanna try drive there...

didn't know the IKEA was designed in such a way that the top floor is the showroom for us to look at the stuffs... n the food court is at the same floor for ppl to rest n haf a meal... then after that just proceed to the floor below to find the stuffs we wan...

i was so lost at 1st loh... walked 1 round in the showroom... then went to the next level thinking there's still more things to look at... but end up looking at the warehouse where ppl pick their items... somemore i didnt remember the rack number of the items i wanted lol... go went back up again to look for it...

finally got my 3 items... a black foldable chair $9.95... a black table $88... n a huge red "coaster" $2.90 for my meals on the table hahaha... so my 1st trip down to this TAMP IKEA costed me abt $100 hahahaha... lucky got car, so can bring home those heavy things... but the thing is i went alone... then the trolley cannot be pushed to the car... i don't dare ask anyone or the ikea ppl to help me look after... so i carried those 3 items to the car myself loh haha lucky i strong enough wahahaha :P

foldable chair could only support up to 100kg wahaha lucky i still under 100kg... somemore i only realised this when i reach home loh lucky :P

wedding lunch~

went to changi village hotel on sun afternoon for my cousin's wedding... his solemnisation was held by the pool on the 8th floor of the hotel... atmosphere not bad... just that the weather wasn't helping... was so damn hot... even the chairs were hot n most of the guests rather stand at the side than to seat on the chairs :P

it's my 1st time to witness a solemnisation in person... it felt kinda romantic n sweet hahaha... letting everyone know u love that person n gonna marry him/her... be 2gether 4ever...

then was thinking when would be my turn to be standing there... taking the oath... holding her hand... exchanging wedding rings... hahaha quite a nice picture...

too bad... kinda hard for me to make all these happen lol

then after that we had the lunch in the hotel... buffet style hehehe... some thing new to me... probably they're keeping it simple n cheap? hehe hope it was cheap... if not then i rather they had the traditional wedding dinner :P

after that we went home n i slpt from 2-7pm... cus the nite b4 was chatting away on msn non-stop till sunday morning then off to the wedding... hahaha didnt expected to reall chat till morning... nv thought we could tok so much about personal stuffs lol

CNY week

don't really know why... but i don't seem to have the mood to blog nowadays... hehe hmm maybe i'm just lazy? or nothing much to write about bah? or just don't wanna share that much of myself anymore :P

anywayz... this cny kinda boring... only gd thing is that i gotta drive my bro's honda jazz for a week... then he drove his own rental car... on the 1st day of cny i drove my parents to ah-ma's hse at simei then to tampines n back to bedok... why i said this cny is boring is cus that was the end of my visits lol... after which is just stay home and wait for relatives to visit us...

and all that happened on the 1st day of cny... the funny thing is, no one played MJ at our house this yr... i didn't even get to see our MJ tiles in my house loh... plus all my relatives left after having dinner... usually they would stay till about 10pm last time... i guess this yr the economic is bad... then no one wants to gamble lol...

but somehow i still managed to get about total of $300 for my angbaos... but i lost some $90 for my gambling... on cards alone... didn't gamble much on MJ... only lost $6 cus we played really really small wahahahaha...

i really made use of my bro's car during this cny week... went out to lunch with frenz at goldenmile food centre, go frenz hse for cny visits... furthest i drove was yishun lol... then helped my bro with his work oso... cus i'm using his car... so need to fetch him around and help out hehehe...

kinda like to drive around... and i finally got the hang of vertical parking at carparks hehe... but now no more car to drive... cus given back the car to my bro... cus he need it for work lol... later gotta take bus to bedok camp for IPT somemore lol... if got car then easy lol...

QRS News Flash 2 (FM Fanatic)

Quek RS had been officially released on free transfer by Pana FC on 31st Dec 2008.

It has been rumoured that the 26 yr old amateur GK is desperate to join a new club and restart his playing career afresh. An interview with the player's agent revealed that the rumours are unfortunately true. Quek is currently facing a financial crisis and has to start playing for a new club very soon.

The bad news doesn't stop there. It was stated in our previous article, that Pana FC would be releasing several other players on free transfer on 31st Dec 2008. But an interview with Pana FC had revealed that Quek was the only player being given free transfer on New Year's Eve. The other players would leave once their contract expire somewhere in mid 2009.

This was a shocking news to the amateur GK. We managed to do a short interview with Quek when he was seen leaving the club's premises. These are his words:

"I felt that I've been treated unfairly. I'm being brought into the Club under false pretence. But I'm glad to have left the Club that doesn't appreciate what I've done for the team."

QRS News wishes Quek all the best in finding a new club, where he would be able to play 1st team football. A player of such quality is hard to come by.

met up with YL this evening after work at bedok int... cus she wanna pass me her homemade mini cup cakes... she finally made them loh after my prolonged nagging since way before x'mas hahahahaha oops :P

i must say they taste quite nice... even my parents oso say nice loh lol :P but think it would be nicer if it was eaten straight away after making... cus it would be more crispy :P well... overall pass lah hahaha looks nice n taste nice...

Rumours are being silenced today as Quek's future with his club has been confirmed...

Quek RS would be officially released on free transfer by his current club on 31st Dec 2008. Although the 26 year old amateur GoalKeeper still has 6 months remaining in his current contract. No compensation would be made to the player due to his contract agreements.

Quek and his current manager came to an agreement on his future with the club, when he went back to the club for training this morning.

However, Quek would still be 1st choice GK in his current club till 31st Dec 2008. After which, the club would be rotating their 2 reserved veteran GKs. Quek is not the only casualty, all contract players in the club would be released on free transfer by end of this year.

Quek's future after the club is still uncertain. It is rumoured that some lower league clubs might be interested to sign the amateur GK for his determination and hardworking attitude. But close friends of the player had revealed to the press that he might be looking into early retirement from the game, and start afresh elsewhere.

Kusu Island Trip on 5/12

went to Kusu Island on my last day of reservist... it was organised by the squadron in order to get the NSmen n regulars plus family members to get together... actually i didn't wanna go... but cus it was only a 3hrs program in the morning, then after that we r free to go... it's much better than going back to HQ for the whole day n then do my out-processing...

it's my 1st time there, every year i would hear my parents telling me they r going over to kusu island to pray... but i didn't follow them lah... but now i get a chance to really see what's over there in the island...

we took the ferry over to the island in the morning at abt 10:30am... the journey there was abt more than 30mins i think...

they said there r alot of tortoises... man they r not lying loh... lol... everywhere we go around the island we could either see real tortoises... or statues of tortoises lol

there was a wishing well there too... hehe don't ask me what i wish for lol...

a short tour around the island n we were back on the ferry on the way home to sg... somehow i felt the journey back took much longer... think it was probably we had buffet lunch onboard so it took a slight detour before heading back to the pier... else i don't think we could finish eating before the ferry reach the dock

we were 'released' at abt 1pm n that marks the end of my 'holiday' reservist lol... gonna go back to work on tuesday... luckily there was a holiday on monday... get to rest 1 more day...

Sentosa Trip on 23/11

went to sentosa last month... with eve n shirley from m'sia... they came to sg for a few days so i brought them over there... didn't blog abt it cus i was waiting for the pic from them :P just got them 2day so will post some now... we went over to vivo/harbourfront to take the cable car to sentosa...

was kinda a 1st time for me to take the cable car to sentosa loh... didn't know it was that expensive hehe... $9 for s'poreans n $18 for tourists, but 1 gd thing is that we don't have to pay for the monorail again if we wanna take it while inside sentosa... just gotta tell the operators we took cable car in n they would open the gantry for us free hehehe :P

went to the merlion over there... but didn't go into it... just took some pics outside...

then off to there underwater world... the queue that day was quite long loh... think it was due to the sch holidays... get to see lots of stingrays n other sea creatures... n the jellyfishes r beautiful hehehe...

actually was supposed to watch the dolphin show in the evening... but then it started to rain really heavily... so we left before the show started... n i only got 1 tiny umbrella so all 3 of us were drenched... felt kinda bad for letting the gals get caught in the rain...

maybe next time we can go again for the dolphin show hehehe... really enjoyed that day...

finally... after sooo many yrs of delay... i passed my TP this afternoon... my beri 1st try n i did it, i even managed to hit the pole n make it drop while i wasing coming out from my parallel parking lol... tat was 10 demerit points loh...

then on the slope... somehow i stalled n roll backwards... tat's 2 points... n finally during the parallel parking i needed additional maneuvers to get the car in the centre of the slot... 2 more points... total of 14 demerit points... beri lucky...

my mind was like WTH... y did i go hit the pole when i could clearly see tat my front of the car is going to hit it... then when i see it go down followed by the 'ping' sound... my heart just sank i thgt i was a goner already... haha... but luckily not much mistakes along the way... i did missed to check blind spot twice when switching left lane n turning left... maybe my action wasn't tat big enough... but still those 2 errors were just warnings... :P

gonna get the real licence in a few weeks time... finally hehehe... so happy :P should haf gotten it while in poly or army loh... but better late than nv hehehe

... i'm beginning to lose my sense of direction... the loneliness just creeps in out of no where... kinda missed that few weeks... i think that was the 1st time in my life i smsed so much in a day, in a week... it was something i really looked forward to... before working everyday, during lunch time, after work... n during weekends...

Fuji Xerox + M1 + Yeo-Leong & Peh = ??

the answer to the above qns is... a ruined weekend...

it was a normal n relaxed friday evening after work... but it turned into a stressful n headache evening after i open up my letter box n found a letter from Yeo-Leong & Peh addressed to me... i was thinking how come a law firm would send me a mail...

when i open it, it was sent under the instructions from M1... to demand payment from me for the hp line i had during my time in Fuji Xerox... n the sum is $263.83 plus a legal cost of $53.50 which makes it a total of $317.33... i was like WTH...

1stly, when i left Fuji Xerox, i returned everything including the hp they gave me n the M1 sim card...

2ndly, i thought they would pass the sim card n hp to a new employee... so when i kept receiving the monthly bill from M1, i didn't bother abt it... why? cus the charges would be paid by Fuji Xerox... but i kept wondering how come they nv transfer the line to another person's name if it's being used by another person...

3rdly, i called up M1 friday nite to check on the monthly bills after i leave the company in Feb... i was told that Fuji Xerox lifted off the corporate plan from the line ONLY... n the line was still active... but why wasn't i informed of such things when apparently i am no longer holding onto the hp or the sim card... why wasn't i told to terminate the line?

i know i'm partly at fault for not calling up to double check on why i kept receiving the monthly bill... but Fuji Xerox should also inform me that the line is still active n i would need to pay for it... still, the main thing is i've already surrendered the sim card to the company... why can't they terminate the line on my behalf or inform me to terminate it?

the worst part is, i've only got 8days to make payment or somehow sort things out... but the mail was sent on 15th Sept, n i only saw the letter on fri nite... which gives me only up to this coming monday, or wednesday if the weekends r not counted... if after 8days payment is still not made, further legal actions would be taken against me...

i gotta call up the law firm to clarify things n try to extend the deadline, oso gotta check with Fuji Xerox what the hack was going on, n who handled the hp matters... whatever the outcome, i would never pay a single cent for something i didn't have n didn't use...

i had such a headache fri nite that i went straight to bed after dinner... not mood to even watch tv or play game...

but was feeling much better on sat morning... i thought~ it's either this case could be settled easily, with Fuji Xerox paying the charges... or~ i'll have to really come out with the $317.33 n take it as an expensive lesson to act fast if something is amiss... but then again, i'm gonna have some problems trying to come out with that amount $$...

lets hope for the best on monday...

thought i could clear my mind with a swim... but it didn't... went swimming this morning, surprisingly it isn't crowded with kids... well, probably cus it's already 11am... think their lessons had ended...

anywayz... the water was cold, just rite to clear my thoughts... that's what i thought, but somehow instead of concentration on swimming, i kept telling myself to forget the stuffs 'hanging around' in my head... end up after the swim the thoughts r still stuck in my head... hai~

well... it doesn't really matter... maybe i'll go again next week after my driving lessons... i kept asking myself, "why the hell am i doing this all over again??"... once bitten, twice shy, a third time would mean that i'm a fool... to keep letting myself fall over...

but i just need that 1 little chance... that small little confirmation... that acceptance... i guess i'm just fooling myself again, that such chances would be available to me... yet, everything seems so nice... but i'm still getting that "i would end up falling again" feeling...

read an article on the newpaper this week... telling ppl that life is over, just live.

it talked abt work... the misconception of work is that it is a necessity... n some ppl r feeling miserable at what they're doing... yet they say 'they're making a living', but they're not... i find it quite true...

i should be waking up every morning having the urge to go to work... to do something i like n enjoy doing... i didn't had that feeling when i was in my 1st job, i had to drag my feet to work everyday... now i'm in my 2nd job for almost 3months, probation ending soon too... although it's kind of a dull n routine job, at least i'm not dragging myself to work every morning... n i enjoy the company of my colleagues in there :P

the down side to this, if i don't get converted to perm staff after my probation, i had to start my job search again... cus i don't wanna waste an entire year in there as a temp staff, not enjoying the full benefits... i really should find something i like n enjoy doing as my job...

next it talked abt falling in love... it mentioned that modern society is anti-love, that it is easier to find a reason not to love someone, than otherwise... it is sooo spot-on true, cus the only reason i gave myself if i wanna try to love someone... was that i'm not good enough for her... i could come out with soo much more reasons why i shouldn't love someone... yet, i'm at a lost of words when i try to say why i love that particular person...

also, we shouldn't love if we want to be loved in return... as its value is to inspire us to better ourselves in every way... and that we either love, or we don't love that person at all... there's no half in love...

so my concept of longing to be loved is wrong?? hmm... how sad, so i guess at my current state... i couldn't bring myself to love someone, yet i'm wrong to wanting to be loved...

perhaps my 'life' isn't over yet...

had a dream last nite... it was sooo~~ sweet n simple, yet somehow i felt it was abit unrealistic due to the fact that i dont think it would ever happen in my real life... i just felt like crying when i woke up this morning, how i wish i would stay in tat dream 4ever...

it's kinda pathetic actually... that such things could only happen to me in the form of a dream n fantasy... i've kinda given up hope for such things to ever happen in reality... after those things that happened last time... it might seem like small issues to others, but it's a rather huge blow for me to face with...

the dream was really short... but that particular moment kept replaying itself in my head, over n over for the entire day... i just simply cant get it out of my mind, hmm... or maybe i just wanna keep this in my memory... cus that simple action in the dream is the closest thing i would ever encounter, as compared to my real life...

actually i never thought that i would dream abt her, cus of the different personalities... well, it's just a dream rite? hehehe... probably due to the fact that for the past 2 nites, she's the last person i talked to on msn before sleeping...

this is how it goes... we're walking in the mall, side by side... arms swinging, to n fro... then next thing i knew, i caught hold of her hand... there was no resistance, only acceptance... i looked over my shoulders, she glanced with a smile... i felt loved, appreciated... just a simple gesture n acceptance...

all these, i could never dare hope that it would be real... i could only hope to have the same dream every nite...

celebrated my mummy's 61st bday on NDP last sat... went to kallang leisure park for dinner @ Thai Village Shark Fin Rest... oh the shark fin looks nice man, n expensive too... $90 for a medium bowl... only had a taste of the soup though... cus we only ordered for mummy n pa to eat lol... if we were to order for the 6 of us... the bill would've rocket to abt $700 lol

though its a sin to eat shark fin... cus of the way it's brought to our dining table... so we should stop eating shark fin n the killings would stop... but cus my mummy already 61, we thought sacrificing 1 shark was kinda alrite :P

anywayz... i wanted to buy mummy the $1 scratch&win ticket on sat... but the cashier @ the singaporepools told me they only allow purchase of the tix after 6pm... cus the priority is given to ppl who r buying 4D... guess they dont 1 ppl to queue up just to buy the tix n waste other ppl's time who wanted to buy 4D...

so... just now i went down to get 61 $1 scratch&win tix for mummy as a token for her 61st bday :P hope she can get lucky n win some $$... told myself if out of the 61 tix, we nv get back at least $10... then we must be damn suay~ lol

kinda did an endurance test on my right ankle this afternoon... went for a movie at TM, watched the Mummy... hmm not a beri nice 1 though, too unreal...

anywayz... at times i was able to walk with ease, but there would always be tat sudden tension if i prolong my walking... the worst part is, whenever i'm sitting down/resting, of cus i dont feel pain... but once i get up, n just by standing straight, i could immediately feel the vains n the muscles around my ankle pulling apart...

as if the blood flow to my ankle was disrupted everytime i rest... when i tried to move off, it's like trying to overcome the blood clog at my ankle... somehow the swelling has yet to subside... would it ever go away by itself?... would i be limping the rest of my life? hope not :P

hai~ wat a great time to be injured... just hope it wont affect my probation...

the pain is almost gone... but my right foot is still swollen, trying beri hard to bring down the swelling... put in a bucket of ice+water, elevate the leg above the heart (when laying down of cus), applying the cream doc gave me... still the swelling is visible...

it's oso due to the swell, tat when i try to apply my weight on my right leg, it hurts... now i'm trying to find a spot so tat when i walk it wont hurt much... got 1 more day to try to bring down the swelling, going back to work on friday... how i wish i could take MC for the whole week... but i need to let my engineer to sign my timesheet, else i cant get my pay on time...

hai~ i can imagine the amount of decap needed to be done on friday when i go back to work... well, i'm just 1 person... i can only do a certain amount of work a day... who ask them not to hire another EA or technician since i'm the only EA left in tat dept since last week...

tink i should retire from bball lol... kinda have a slight phobia of the sport already :P

went back to company this morning to return the lab key... althgh the distance from my locker rm to the office is not tat far... i gotta climb or should i say hop up 2 flight of steps to my locker... n down 2 more to the 1st floor n take the lift to 3rd floor office... after everyting i was perspiring as if i just finish my 2.4km run...

after tat bro took me to bedok polyclinic... lucky the place got lift... but still it was soo small, i could barely fit 4 adults... n there were so many ppl in polyclinics loh, the young n the old... took us abt 2hrs to finish everyting n head home... but it was really cheap... consultation fee only $9, n medicine was abt $5... so i used up abt $15 or my monthly medical claim liaoz... anymore sickness i would haf to pay by myself...

n bathing was so troublesome n tiring too... i gotta put a chair in the toilet so i could rest n not rely on my left leg for support the entire time... n i gotta postpone my driving lesson this week, luckily i only booked 1 lesson this week... n i call them early to cancel it so i could still use the deposit for tat lesson to rebook another 1 lesson...

now just hope i can recover by thurs, if not i dont know how i am going to work... i'm definitely not going work with the walking sticks... its sooo tiring n troublesome

long time nv play bball... so jg/jc/me planned to play this morning... with weihe's frenz at bedok 85 area... i was there early so played awhile, but when they came, we started playing 3vs3... n it's not even half way through the game... i was marking someone, somehow when i tried to shift to my right, my right leg just refused to move but my body was still moving right...

the next moment i had a crack inside me... n i'm on the ground in pain... cant believe it man, long time nv play, body dont know how to react to movements already... i sprained my right ankle big time... at 1st i still could move my feet abit... but as time goes by n the swelling starts, my right feet was immobilised... totally cant apply any pressure on my right leg...

went back home in a cab... cus i cant even walk up the steps of a bus... bathed n dad bring me down to see chinese physician, was told not to walk too much, n tues then can remove the bandage... n sis help me go down to ntuc to get me a pair of walking stick, $36 for a pair loh... hai~ y must i go play bball n injured myself n waste $$...

i still gotta go back company 2moro morning... to return the lab key tat's in my locker... cus i booked it out last fri... informed my supervisor n he agreed for me to take mc after i return the key

had a chance to be in the driver's seat rite at the start of 2nite's driving lesson... usually the instructor would drive me to a more spacious carpark n hand over the wheel to me... but not 2nite, i drove off from the carpark at bedok... to 85 market... to expo... to changi airport... to changi village... to paris ris... to tampines... to bedok res... n back to my blk's carpark...

was really excited i gotta drive around... but not without some scares... 1stly i stalled again infront of a green light, but only when i was near the saf ferry terminal... next was i kinda drove too fast, abt 60-70km/h, n the instructor was hinting me if i can drive tat fast then no need to learn from him already hahaha :P so i shall drive like a learner should, which is slow n steady...

another scare was when i was turning into bedok north from bedok res rd... there was a taxi across me trying to turn right but then went straight again... i had to stop n let him pass b4 i could make the turn... n i almost stalled in the middle of the turn...

it was kinda tiring for my legs after i got out of the car... but it was fun driving home... 1st time woo... hehe still i need to really work on getting the hang of the half clutch, starting n stopping the car...

2nd lesson 2nite... was kinda late, cus help out colleagues at work after working hrs... end up left at 7pm... reach bedok around 8.05pm... gone to BK for a fast dinner, then off to the driving centre... reach there just rite, 8.30pm... but becus i got the reception to help me book my TP date n pay for my next week lesson... i started my lesson 2nite at abt 8.45pm

the gd news is... my TP would be in 31st OCT @ 3.45pm roughly abt 4months for me to learn... n try to pass on the 1st try n get my licence by end of the yr...

2nite lesson not bad... i got a chance to "level up my skills" lol... learn how to shift to 2nd gear, but still drive around the big carpark... towards the end of the lesson, the instructor asked me whether i wanna drive out n all the way back to my home... i was excited, 1st time can go on road n somemore it's just the 2nd lesson...

but end up i declined his offer... although he told me it was late n there aren't so many cars on the road... but i still not tat confident in stopping n moving off smoothly... plus the junction towards my home, the 1 leading to the PIE... that's where the cars r, so i told him maybe on the 3rd lesson then i will go on the road... :P

n finally on my 2nd lesson i found the half clutch of that car... one word to summarise my nite: HAPPY :)

had my beri 1st feel infront of a steering wheel 2nite... kinda hard learning how to drive at nite, cus cant see much... well, at least its not hot lol...

all i did was just drove around in a rather big carpark in 1st gear only... with just a few cars parked in there... so i could drive around "freely"... had a slight stall few sec after moving off, cus there was another car driving out of the carpark, i tried to stop without depressing the clutch lol... otherwise everything went pretty fine... only a few jerks here n there... still can't get the hang of the half clutch n how much pressure to apply on the accelerator

kinda felt 90mins past rather fast... a few rounds n a look at my watch, it was already a quarter past 9pm... well, next lesson is this fri nite again lol... learning 2 times per week for this month... although the earliest TP date available would be late oct or early nov... plenty of time for me to learn... so gotta spread out the lessons liaoz lol...

went to Ubi CDC for my FTT this morning @ 1030... reached there slightly early so stood around look see look see... then a familiar face caught my attention... he was wearing a cap with glasses... accompanied by a lady... a closer look n the sound of his voice confirmed tat he is tcs actor Li Nan Xing...

but somehow the ppl around the lobby didnt pay much attention to him... maybe they just didnt notice it was him... or maybe they just dont bother... perhaps he's not as famous as before, but if it was back then, i believe he would have been surrounded by all the ppl at CDC...

i wanted to take a pic of him, but i felt it would be kinda invading his rights... not sure if he's there to renew his licence or wat... but did overheard him talking on the hp abt enquiring something to do with licence... not sure abt who the lady was... maybe she's his assistant...

anywayz... i went on to take my FTT, i was so frustrated by the touch screen LCD cus i need to touch really hard to select the options... then after abt 20qns, i realised tat i just need to use my fingernails to touch the screen... with my nails i just need to tapthe screen, but with my fingers i gotta press really hard... hehe felt so stupid loh...

since this was my 3rd time taking the test... was kinda worried i wouldn't make it this time... 1st time i failed, 2nd try i passed but didn't proceed to learn driving... n it dragged my 2yrs till my FTT expired... n here i am, my 3rd try... but luckily i passed lol... somehow i felt some qns weren't covered in the book...

after tat i immediately proceed to get my PDL... then went back to bedok central to enrol for the driving lessons at the small little shop near the Geylang Football Club... each 1.5hr lesson costed $37.50 loh... so expensive lol... my 1st lesson would be on next wed nite @ 8pm... gonna be in the driver's seat for the 1st time liaoz lol... gonna be fun, i hope :P

PS: after confirmation with my bro... tink Li Nan Xing was there 2day to retake his licence, cus he was revoked last time? :P

Surprised... Shocked... Stunned... & Devastated...

it might seem normal for others, or it's not a big deal for them... but to me, having a benefit taken away from me is totally out of the qns...

1stly being a temp contracted staff, i'm not entitled to any bonus wat so ever... n only given 7days leave for 1 yr contract... i'm ok with it, cus if i could be converted to perm staff, the benefits r much better...

now... i was totally stunned when my colleagues told me they were all forced to take 1 day leave on the day b4 cny as the CO. shutdown the plant/line... n if u dont have any leave left in the balance... u will be deducted a day's pay... or deduct ur leave in advance, meaning next time u will have -1 day leave...

it might be norm for manufacturing line or factories... but i just cant accept the fact tat i'm being ripped off 1 day leave just becus the CO. shutdown for 1 day... on top of tat, i'm not given any bonus or cny ang-pao which all the perm staffs r entitled to... it somehow seems to me all temp staffs r being ripped off... hai~

would be considering a change of job again... TBC...

maybe the only thing tat would make me stay happy in there would be seeing tat gal in the canteen lol... n it was confirmed she's in HR, cus me n my colleagues saw her with the HR ppl during tea break...

then again... perhaps i need some time to adjust to such conditions... hai~

was having brunch with colleagues in the canteen... i looked up n saw a figure at the drink store... although i'm still quite new at the company... somehow i knew tat its was the person's 1st day at work... cus it's kinda like a 'new face' among the crowd...

didnt really pay much attention to it... till i had a second glance around the table i was sitting... n there she was, at the other end... with just a can of chrysanthemum n having a conversation with her 'tour guide'... she has got these big round eyes, n the "so many things to take note on my 1st day" look... but all i could think of at tat moment was... she is sooo cute :P i think partly becus she kinda have tat 'hiro' look...

it was confirmed tat she was a newbie in the company... cus rite after our late lunch i saw her outside our dept office... then awhile later outside the QA lab, with the tour guide of cus... n the whole day i couldn't stop thinking abt which dept she's in...

till i was on my way out of the company... she re-appeared infront of me, from the direction where the HR is... n she waited for the bus outside the company... but i'm taking the bus 25 way outside the main road... was thinking if i should change my "going-home" route lol...

well, if she really is in HR... then the chances r i could see her there when i go n take my time sheet from there...

n i suppose tat is as far as i'm able to accomplish... 26 yrs of knowledge had only taught me how to admire from far... any more than tat would result in regrets...

1st day of work... took the bus too early at 7am... end up reach the destination a full 50mins early... so instead of alighting, i went all the way to the stop outside ang mo kio mrt... n took the feeder bus into the place... didnt wanna go in too early cus noting to do oso... by doing tis little detour i was still rite on time lol

got my co. uniform today... tried out the sizes n wore them at the spot... the shirt/pants n a pair of cheapo shoes with a brand logo similar to converse lol... lucky we cannot wear the work uniform outside of the work place... cus it kinda looks awful when i wear it lol... but i see others wear ok leh, not bad... im really too fat liaoz lol... wanna know my pants size for the uniform? i would nv haf imagined it myself either... it was 4XL, tink the material not tat gd... cannot stretch, feels like nylon :P

i saw quite a number of guys wearing sandals n shorts into the place n change into the work uniform... was tinking abt wearing like tat 2moro... but will look n ask again to confirm... feel nice dont haf to wear uniform to work, only need to wear at work...

anywayz... 1st day then i realised im the only TEMP contract stuff on my 1st day... still wondering y they hiring temp, r they expecting high turn over rate? well... hope i would stay as long as i could... cus the job scope is just: got fault - locate fault - anaylise test results - end...

hmm it's still in the range of wat i wan... just tat it's short of another step... cus i would like to rectify n solve the fault too... which is not in my job scope... well, at least no haf to bother much abt it after getting the test results... only gotta do some paper work...

2moro is another day... hope my OJT being soon... cus i'm already bored towards the end of today :P

ohh... 2 tings to be happy abt... take straight bus 25 to ang mo kio is much faster n cheaper than taking mrt then change bus... so by walking to n fro bedok interchange, i only paying for transport of bus 25... n the meals in the canteen at work is cheap oso... $2 for a meal... so end of every month... transport will only used up abt $52 :P

officially accepted the Panasonic job... it will commence next monday... gonna get up early for work liaoz... need to re-tune my internal clock again lol... hope bus 25 to ang mo kio wont get stuck in traffic jam in morning... i know its gonna be jammed... but must try not to be late 1st day... cus is a jap mnc... must be punctual

its a contract based job though... will work hard hard to try become perm staff lol... cus i'm still tied down by the agency... i get my pay through them... not the company... but once perm staff then everything will be panasonic liaoz...

do hope i can do well n like this job... :)

successfully 'crawled' through my CAAS interview this afternoon... it lasted from 2.15-4.10pm... almost 2hrs... cus i was required to take some tests before going for interview... i tink i'm the 1 to blame lah cus i spent more than an hr for the tests lol...

the interview was considered not bad bah... although i did saw a shake of head from one of the 3 interviewers :P cus he asked me if i prefered a job tat is more stable, or a job tat haf changes now n then... i replied a stable job, then i saw the head movement lol... but other parts r ok loh... i believed most qns they asked i gave them the rite reply... except for tat particular 1... hope tat's not the qns tat costed me this job opportunity hahaha...

cus i got a bad feeling if this interview goes wrong... tat panasonic opening might not be available anymore :P

anywayz... today's interview was almost cancelled due to the fact tat 1 of the interviewer was down with flu... i told the HR tat another company is awaiting my reply to accept their job offering... so the easliest i could postpone it was till next mon or tues... end up today's interview was given a 'go-ahead'...

so met up with vin for lunchie at T1's canteen... then he 'escorted' me to around to T2, to the CAAS office where i had my tests n interviews...

after everytingy... i took the skytrain to T3 to haf a look... since its opening i haf yet to visit it... the area ok only loh... not much designs in the interior leh... n the aircon oso not tat strong as compared to T1 & T2... n only now then i realised tat the mrt station is just rite below T3 lol... i nv really walked the full length of T3, cus it's so desserted n noting much specical... so i turned around n took mrt home lol...

went down to EXPO ytd morning with JG... go there for Adidas Sales/Popular Fair/Robinson Sales... bought a rim of A4 size paper from popular fair... then on the Adidas sales... thgt of getting some shorts, T's n jerseys... but was kinda disappointed... found a blue jersey tat i like but no size... only left XL... i tried it on but was too big for me... lol

then went to robinson sales... alot of stuffs loh... got myself 2 OP shorts $19.90each n a Hush Puppies Tshirt for $16... thgt i would spend quite alot at Adidas... but end up i only bought from Robinson sales... instead JG bought alot loh... from Adidas n Robinson... abt a total of $270? lol... cus he bought shirts n pants for work, n some for his family oso lol...

i not much $ left liaoz... so cant spend too much... need to keep abt 1.2k for 2months of bills n left only abt $150 for the next month expenses :P gonna chase BK for my $1K liaoz... if still cannot pay me, i will include interest of $100 per week lol... to make up for my losses... i hate tinking abt $ when i'm searching for a job... i will hinder me from finding the rite job... then i will not acknowledge a him as a frend after i get my $ back...

this afternoon went to DownTownEast for lunch/movie with Vin/JC/JG... watched Indiana Jones... movie was not bad... but the sound effects of the cinema was kinda sux... but it was Cathay cinema loh... then the aircon was like turned to freezing temperature loh... 1st time i felt so cold in a cinema hahaha...

but this is the 1st time i go there since it was upgraded... the play looks rather nice... the building is mainly occupied by restaurants n kids amusement parks more suitable for family outings...

then we to JG hse in evening to play his Wii... the Mario Kart game was nice... it can be play online somemore... n it's free to do so cus Wii has got Wi-Fi... no need to subscribe to anytingy... just need to haf internet connection at home... then there's the arcade game Ghost Squad... i find it's the best shooting game for Wii... maybe cus it's much more easier to play as compared to Resident Evil lol...

since we were playing game... we decided to order pizza for dinner... when it came, i was surprise to see it was neither Pizza-hut nor Canadian pizza... it was Rite Pizza... to me it's new loh... n it taste really nice too... the crust is quite thin n the 2 pizzas we ordered r rather nice... but i like the Super Spicy Chicken more than the Ocean Delite... maybe next time can order from them liaoz...

how to put songs in blog?

to wat i know, there r 3 ways to play songs in blogs...

1) play ONLY 1 song in the background of the blog with an embeded code, this is the simplest way... u just need to upload the song to an online storage place, n paste the link of the song in the code...

i'm using sg.geocities.yahoo.com to store the songs, but it could only store max 15mb n can only upload any file tat is less than 5mb

since the song is played in the background... therefore it will auto play, n there's no "stop" button

the LOOP=TRUE will make the song play over n over again, if it's put to FALSE, it will only play once...

just finished watching Honour and Passion aka 保家卫国, a show toking abt our army... but wat interest me most in the show r the relationship problems they haf...

then it kinda make me realised again... i dont really know wat is love, how to love... i'm not ready for it...

1. i didnt do much of a thing to express my love
2. i didnt persist on wat i felt was love, i gave up after 1 defect
3. when i didnt give up, i was too stubborn to move on
4. all my feelings r one-sided

felt so cheated by a job agency (dont wanna name it cus scare later kana sued)... it's been abt 1 week already bah? went there do a short interview with the agency... told me there r abt 3 jobs suitable for me... i find only 2 of them tat i'm keen on going to an interview, cus of the location n the type of job... so the guy told me he could send in my resume to the 2 companies... n wait for their replies n full details of the job... n get prepared for the interviews

they did told me there r a few other candidates too... but i thgt since they say they would send in my resumes to the companies, y is it tat till now i still nv receive any emails or phone calls from either side? felt so cheated loh...

i dont wanna call the agency to check on it... i felt i'm being betrayed, i would rather continue to look elsewhere...

at most when my resources r really empty then i go do part time 1st... or get some of the saving out from my insur. savings plan :P

another way... i'm willing to lost a frend to get my $1k back... hahaha

went to the newly relocated OASIS restaurant @ toa payoh lor 6, just behind the swimming complex @ the toa payoh town park... had our belated mummy day dinner tis evening... cus last week was fully booked...

the new place is ok lah... although still prefer the old location by the sea... its got full length glass windows, gd for scenic view but bad cus the sun shines directly into the restaurant... n there r no curtains...

the food... standard kinda dropped, alot haha... n the price kinda increased too... 6pax 7 dishes abt $112 loh... last time it wasnt so EX leh...

oso not much parking lots... worst would be park at the hdb hub there n cross the overhead bridge

had another terrible dream last nite... well, actually i had 2 sets of dream... tat other 1 was much nicer...

but this 1... was just a 'repeat telecast' of wat i had last time... i dreamt tat my house was once again broken into n robbed... n this time everything was stolen, i even had a ps2 n a ps3 in tat dream which were stolen too lol...

but somehow we had a cctv outside our house which caught a glimpse of the robber... n we went to the police... n tat was the end of tat dream... not much of an ending... y do i keep having this kinda dreams? its sorta disturbing loh...

ytd my starhub digital set top box in the living room "went up the lorry"... near the evening somemore... called the customer service they said they could only come n fix 2day evening 4-6pm...

there was power to the set top box... only there's no picture n there's this yellow LED above the msg icon on the set top... so i check the set top box in my room... everything was ok... then i decided to bring the set top in my room to the living room... cus my parents n bro would be watching tv... i still got my PC so i'm ok without tv for 1 nite...

when i try to use the spoil set top box in my room... it suddenly give out a spark where the power cord was attached to... i check the fuse in the plug, the fuse blew... so i use the power cord from the gd set top box n try on the spoil 1... same tingy, the fuse of the cord blew... then i had 1 gd set top box n 1 spoil set top box... both with spoil power cord...

so farking sian loh... n the best tingy is, they r not using normal 13Amp fuse... instead they r using 3Amp fuse... so i went down to the shops to check if they sell 3Amp fuse... all said they only haf 13Amp fuses...

then i decided to go all the way to people's park centre to get the fuses... there's 1 shop on the 3rd flr sell all sorts of electronic stuffs... i bought some fuses there while working for fuji xerox lol... it was evening time n everyone was rushing into the mrt stations... i alighted at raffles place mrt... cus i dont wanna switch trains... so i walked from there to chinatown...

reach liaoz the shop told me they only got 5Amp left... i was tinking ok lah not tat much diff... so bought 5 for $1... came home to try n it worked... but i still dont feel rite so checked the internet to see if its ok to use a 5Amp fuse instead of a 3Amp fuse... haha i was making a terrible mistake by using a 5Amp fuse loh... i am risking the gd set top box from burning up if there was a short... so i took it out n 2nite no starhub channels for the family... only normal sg channels lol...

then this morning i went down to sim lim tower to get 3Amp fuses... reason becus i can't wait till the technician come in the evening... n i dont wanna try to explain to the technician how come 1 set top box spoil n 2 power cords fuse blow... plus if the fuses were to blow again in the future i can just replace them...

i know i can just go down to the starhub customer centre to make 1 to 1 exchange if the tings spoil... but travel down with the set top box abit troublesome... lol

so i bought 6x 3Amp fuses at sim lim tower just now... but each of the fuses cost $0.80 loh... so expensive... 6 means $4.80 loh hai~... oso finally got a blower, those use to blow away dusts... it cost $5.60 sia... i should've kept the 1 fuji xerox gave me... sian...

now just gotta wait for the starhub guys to come n fix my set top box...

thought my fever/headache would go away after drinking some 100plus with water... as stated in some email... but it didn't, instead there was a point it raised to 38.7 degrees... i tried to take a nap in the evening but i kept waking up cus it was too hot even with aircon on...

then my temperature had been hovering over 38.3 degrees... tired to slp... but it was still too hot... so finally decided to take 2 panadols n try lower my body temp with wet towel... maybe i would stay up to watch CL...

i thought i was having dengue fever... but checked the webby... i don't haf any rashes/intense joint pains/vomitting... but i do haf a high temp n body aches

but if 2moro my temp still around 38 then i'll go see doc... scarly kana those dengue with no symptoms 1 then 'ho-say'... really can have early funeral liaoz lol... guys remember the xBox360 n stuffs ar, if really happen lol *touch wood*

since my last fever, cant really remember when it was i had one... it started ytd morning, runny nose... go jc hse play WE still sneezing n 'dripping' haha... by ytd evening i knew it wont just go away... then at nite started coughing... wanted to watch the man u vs barce match... but too tired liaoz, left the tv on n slept till 6+am then woke up to off it...

head was still spinning so went back to bed... there were few occasions i open my eyes... but just no strength to get up lol... then finally got up at abt noon... didn't buy ham n bread so had cup noodles for breakfast+lunch...

took my temp just now to check if i having fever... long time nv use the thermometer liaoz... its amazing the batt still working... then found out my temp was 37.9 degrees... not tat high lah, but in the range of fever liaoz :P

hai~ then checked the champions league score online... super sian loh, man u won... an all english CL... this sux big time...

finally it falls on a sat... cus last time it usually ends up on some weekdays lol... went to TOPONE ktv opp bugis junction... oso finally got to try this cheap cheap ktv, free flow drinks (7 choice of ice tea)... room is quite gd, except for the way we gotta select our songs (cus no remote) lol... at 1 time only 1 person can select songs on the mini screen beside the big LCD tv... n its not touch screen 1 woo haha, gotta keep pressing to find the songs...

but still not bad once u get used to it lol... at most can dedicate 1 person to select the songs for everyone lol... n the songs quite updated oso loh, hehe not bad lah now got new place to go ktv liaoz lol... ohh n tks to BOY(A), BOY(B) n BOY(C) for the mini cake hahahahahahaha... tis joke only few will understand :P tks for not coming to my place n sing me bday song... if u do i would haf switched off my hp lol......

ended singing at 6pm... timing just rite cus i gotta meet vin, jc, jg, wh & ruth for dinner at clark quay... was kinda late already cus i waited for the bus to get there instead of taking the mrt... i tink either way will be the same lah... but, to make matters abit worst... there was a kinda miscommunication between me n the guys... we said meet at central mall... so i alight opp clark quay mrt n walked towards central mall/merchant sq area...

haha but when i reached there i felt kinda weird... cus i've been there last time while working for fuji xerox to service copiers... i didnt realise there would be restaurants in those buildings... on the 1st floor maybe but 2nd floor onwards r like offices only leh... lol

then after some re-assurance... they told me they were at waraku restaurant @ central "mall" above clark quay mrt... i was like "OHH tat's central leh, not central mall" hahaha... so anywayz, met up wif the guys n had jap dinner at waraku restaurant... food was great, the unagi was so nice... n expensive too hahaha, didnt took any pic of the food though... cus we were too hungry to wait n take pics lol... but i did took a pic of my drink, accompanied with a "sailormoon wand" lol

we tried hot sake... 1st time for me... kinda choked abit when i poured all in at once lol... then i turned red... just 1 tiny cup n me n jg turned red lol...

the place kinda expanded itself loh... cus we were brought outside of the main outlet n up the stairs at the side... we went up like abt 3 floors bah? cant remember really, but there were a number of flight of steps... everyting is the same up there... just abit more quiet n kinda clean lol... i tink its becus we were the 1st grp of ppl up there tis evening...

anywayz... we sang till abt 1.30am then went off even before our time was up... we had abt 30mins more to go... but we were kinda tired n jg gotta go for driving early in morning 2moro... so left in advance...

dont tink anyone ever had abrasion from too much swimming bah? but somehow i managed to cus abrasion near my arm pit area from swimming 3days in a row... tink i too fat liaoz lol... i thght the water would act as a barrier so there wont be any abrasion... but i was wrong lol...

would be taking a break 2moro... but would resume winning eleven at jc hse lol... can get extra income liaoz... woo hoo :P although not much... but at least i can win a meal lol...

still sending in resumes n awaiting replies from companies like STmicro, STmarine n CAAS... not putting in high hopes though hehehe... n my reserves can last me for abt 2-3 months more... so, it's anytime soon tat i would push the panic button :P *fingers crossed*

humans r equipped with the ability to forget... but sometimes, things that we don't wanna remember, will be forever imprinted in our minds... no matter what we try to do, we just couldn't forget about it... and yes, sometimes in the certain part of our mind... we choose not to let go of those memories...

ytd was at home whole day waiting for my LCD tv... but somehow while waiting... there was a registered mail for me... the postman apparently knocked on the door, but i was in my room n couldnt even hear the knock... n my hse no doorbell, cus doorbells r only for sales persons to irritate us lol...

anyway... so i got an uncollected registered mail... so this morning woke up early, gone down to singpost to retrieve it... i was thinking wat could it be... it had got both my name n dialect name on the mail... the only thing i could think of was that the mail was from my insurance... either AIA or Prudential... cus it cant be from mindef, mindef would use sms or email or phone or mail to reach us... not registered mail...

n i was rite... it was from Prudential... abt my cpf investments...

well... back to the header of this entry... the shock of my live came when i reached home... i was stunned to see my metal gate's pad lock wasnt lock... n usually we would lock the wooden door when we go out... but i thought since i'm going out just for awhile... i didnt lock the wooden door... but i didnt realised i had forgotten to lock the most important metal gate... OMG OMG OMG

it seemed to be a costly mistake... but luckily not many ppl loiter around in my area... n my neighbors r all nice ppl... n nothing unfortunate happened... i was sooo scared... i rushed to check my drawer to see if my cash r still inside... n checked if anything was ransacked or stolen... n my LCD tv still around lol... phew~

next time i would always lock both doors b4 leaving... even if just going down to open letter box lol...

hehe finally my new samsung LCD tv arrived ytd evening... it seems pretty light to me... but when mummy try to lift it up... it was too heavy for her lol :P cant blame oso lah i so fat n for guys tat kinda weight is considered light already

lucky the tv just 26"... any bigger it would haf trouble fitting into my room... this 26" just fitted nicely into my 'old tv slot' lol... but gotta move my wardrobe slightly to the left

'TADA' me new LCD tv

1st impression was it looked beri nice... or rather too stylish for my room lol... the person told me if they help me fix it up i gotta pay them... so i DIY loh... just fix in the leg stand n tats it... lol

turning it on... i got a shock when i saw the pic... the face of ppl in the pic looked soo digital... could actually see the pixel on the face... then realised the sharpness to high... gotta adjust it so tat it wont look too digital n yet sharp lol...

next test was ps2... was beri excited how winning eleven would look like in 16:9 LCD... was kinda disappointed though... when in close up view... the players' face n other details r quite nice... but while playing, n when the view was distant... the players looked unreal... n was having trouble trying to read the number on the players' shirt...

then i realised the ps2 settings was set to 4:3... now i'm viewing in a 16:9 LCD... i need to go change it... but then after changing it, it doesn't really affect much... maybe just gotta try to figure out some other way to set it rite... or just needs time to get used to it lol...

had my breakfast+lunch with weixiang just now at bedok's Botak Jones... i was prepared to eat alot of fries lol... but somehow, when my cajun chicken came... the portion seems to be alot smaller than usual... it had shrunk!!?? it looked like normal western food size... instead of the large amount of fries it had last time...

i wonder was it due to some complains abt the portion n waste of fries when ppl cant finish theirs... or was there some other reasons behind the shrunken meal...

well... at least it still taste nice... n we wont go back with an extremely bloated stomach lol...

gonna have our beri 1st LCD TV in the family soon... in may 08 hopefully... a SAMGUNG 26" HD-ready LCD TV...

n of cus... it's from starhub's maxonline premium promotion... gonna be paying $73.19(after 10% off + gst) oso on top of tat i will be having a 5% off cus i'm a hub club member lol... soo over all i will be paying abt $4 less than wat i'm paying now lol... plus i'll be having this free TV

did some calculations lah... i figured i would be saving over $500 if i were to change my plan to a maxonline express... but, the TV worth abt $1k leh... if i take this promotion wouldn't i be saving myself abt $500 for the TV? lol

the only flaw is tat the TV would only reach me in may... cus it requires the vendor to contact me only a month later after i confirm my re-contract just now...

so lets just wait :) i wonder how my ps2 games would look like on tat tv? lol...

i finally decided to do sometingy abt my driving licence... gonna go book my adv theory again 2moro morning... so just now i went to dig up my old theory stuffs n result slips... i was shocked loh... my adv theory HAVE NOT EXPIRE yet...

it would expire soon though... this yr june... but too late... just 2months is not sufficient for me to learn n book a TP test date... soo, ended up i really gotta go book my adv theory again... really hate myself for this extremely stupid n careless n wasteful n lazy behaviour... wtf, i could have gotten my licence this yr loh...

if i had digged up my past result slip for my adv theory when i resigned... i could already be taking the TP n getting my licence loh... :'( WHY WHY WHY... hai~

was playing FM2008 ytd, 1st april aka april fool's day... n i got a shock from the game... it actually played an april fool joke on me n my team... saying that my board is willing to give me $500M n ask if i would accept it... of cus i clicked accept...

the next ting i know is there is a pop up msg saying it's just an april fool joke... i was like wtf??? the makers of the game even made the effort to do up a april fool joke in this soccer game?......

n the funny thingy is that i played the game on 1st april 2008... in the game it was oso 1st april only it was in the yr 2014... maybe it was programmed so tat if the game was played on 1st april in real life as well as in the game... this joke would appear... lol

... since i had nitemares, can't remember wat my last 1 was... but this 1 really scared the hell out of me... it felt so real n bad... maybe last time cus i was working, so not much time for sleep thus not much dreamz... now i'm free, tons of time on my hands to have daydreamz n nitemares... lol

btw: i submitted in some resumes 2day, now awaiting replies... i can picture the thoughts of those around me... it must be like "this guy finally starts his job search seriously, was wondering how long more does he wanna rest"

ok, as for the nitemare... can't remember clearly either, just some fragments of it... but it's scary enough if u ask me... firstly i was held in custody by the police, next thing i know i was helping this guy escape, a policeman was killed by his own pistol, n we used his keys to open the cuffs n broke out...

i reached home, but my room got those old style windows panels, those with abt 6-8 panes in 1 window n requires a lever to open/close them... ohh yah, n i was living on the ground floor for some reason i couldn't understand... i tried to remove the panes in the windows to escape... don't ask me why... it's a weird nitemare... i tink i was trying to hide n run away from my parents, i don't wanna get them involved... the scary part was i could clearly hear the conversation between my mummy n my sis while they were talking over the phone in the living room, i meant i could actually felt it as if i am hearing it in real life... n they were saying someting like "is RS alrite? is he mixing with bad company"

then i woke up... my heart was beating really fast loh... i looked at the time n it was 11.15pm... i had to convince myself that it was impossible for me to hear my mummy n sis conversation as my sis normally calls home abt 9.30pm... walked out of my room to get a drink... i felt thirsty, as if i ran a long way from escaping from the police...

SBJ guidelines for failures...

its the 1st time we get printed notes for our training lol... this PTI at bedok camp taking care of the SBJ group gathered his own info n put them all in words for ppl who fail to pass SBJ... its a list of warmup/common mistakes/training exercises useful for training SBJ... so if u guys fail SBJ can read these notes... got any qns can ask me... or go bedok camp find any PTI... or can even join IPT lol... heard from the OC of bedok camp, the safra clubs gonna host IPT soon oso... but we gotta pay to join lah... so i rather stick to bedok camp lol... its free n near my home...

beri fast... completed 4 sessions of IPT liaoz... 6more including a test to go... but it will only finish in 2nd april... but truly IPT more tiring than RT, cus really every session there will be running... then group training on SBJ/Chin-up/2.4km...

hope next week continue raining... so weather cooling n training oso slightly more cooling lol...

last nite was busy trying to do up my resume in order to go to the career fair at suntec... with the help from vincent i finally finished my new resume lol... tks bro~

when i reach there, realised that i need to register just to enter the fair... so register loh... but once i enter the fair... i could only see AIA, GREAT EASTERN, PRUDENTIAL booths... there to promote financial planner career... nvm, i even entertained 1 of them for the sake of being polite... then went on further, but there was nothing much... not much of engineering jobs... there's aerospace career, but not that interested in those anymore...

i know the fair consists of career n education courses... but it gives me the feeling that the area for education booths r much more larger than the area allocated for career fair loh... hai~ what a huge disappointment...

nvm... on the bright side, there's another career fair in march... plus got IT show coming on the 6-8 march oso haha...

anywayz... back to the headline of this post... before i went for the career fair, i took out my portfolio with my certs n testimonials... then while searching through the envelope of certs... i found my old pri/sec sch class photos haha... was looking for them for some time already, at 1st i thought i lost them last time... but actually i kept it with my important documents...

took the "Five Stars" bus early in the morning at 6.30am, at Golden Mile on monday 11 Feb... the bus was really big... n each row only have 3 seats, cus the chairs r big n got massage functions, there's a small tv for each seat too...

we set off at 7am, n enter malaysia via the tuas causeway... really no ppl use 1 loh lol... except lorries n buses... it took 2hrs before we reached our 1st pit-stop, we had our breakfast at a place call yong peng i think :P... then continued for abt another 4hrs, with 2 more pit-stops in between...

didn't realised it would take sooo long to reach genting, n it's sooo high up in the mountains loh lol... n also i realised i other thingy... the vehicles there, don't give way to other vehicles... one instant is when our bus was moving up the mountain road, a car just cut infront of the bus... i was sitting in the 1st row so i saw everything...

when we reach the bus terminal, i got off the bus n felt a beri cold wind blowing... at 1st i thought i was in an indoor terminal with aircon... till i look around n realised i was outdoor, n it's the cold winds that is blowing on top of the mountain... really beri cold loh, i thought i could tahan it... but i was wrong lol...

once we checked into our rooms in resort hotel... we went down for our late buffet lunch at the restaurant in the hotel... the food quite nice, n only RM$33++ for adult n half price for elderly n kids lol... after that we were off to the casinos hahaha... we didn't even walk around or do any shopping or even go to the theme parks loh... i wanted to go try the rides in the theme parks... but mummy n dad is unfamiliar with the surroundings so i gotta be around them to guide them n look after them...

sooo we spent most of our 3days 2 nites going to casinos to play jackpots... mummy was sooo hooked onto the cute jackpot machine that she just sat there for hrs... spending over RM$600 in jackpots i think, or even more than that lol... i played the jackpot on the 1st day, it was nice... but after that i find it boring cus u can't win much playing that... n i gave most of my RM$ to my parents for jackpots cus they just love to play... i did wanna try the poker tables... but didn't have much RM$ to spare liaoz lol...

throughout the 3days there i just stood/sit beside my parent watching them play hehehe kinda boring i should say... cus didn't explore much over there n didn't go to the theme parks... ohh yah, i even gotta sign up for the member card in order the cash out the credits in the jackpots if we win any or decide to stop halfway... but membership is free lah lol...

but i did do abit of shopping on the last nite there with my sis... bought some cute keychains n stuffs... i should have changed more RM$ n brought more SG$ there to exchange incase ran out of cash... cus really nothing much left on the last day to do any shopping... next time i go there would bring more cash n go the theme parks to play lol...

we checked out on noon of 13 Feb took the afternoon bus back to SG... boarded the bus at 14.30pm... n reached Golden Mile at 21.15pm... then my bro fetch us back home... n sis took taxi to her home with bro-in-law...
